About the Speakers & Moderator:
Dr Balsing Rajput
Balsing Khandusing Kamal Rajput, M Tech, Ph.D. is and a serving police officer in Maharashtra state police, speaker, and researcher. Presently, he serves as deputy commissioner of police, preventive, crime branch, Mumbai City, Maharashtra.
He has strategic and technical expertise in the field of cybersecurity. He has first hand experience of building 51 cyber labs and 43 cyber police stations for cybercrime investigation in Maharashtra State.
He has led the implementation of the Automatic Multimodal Biometric Identification System project. As superintendent of police cyber, he was a key member of the team of Maharashtra Cyber Security Project for the development of an integrated cybersecurity environment for the state through Maharashtra Computer Emergency Response Team, Predictive Policing Solution, and setting up of Center of Excellence in Cybersecurity.
He is a Chevening Cyber Security Fellow 2017 of UK and International Visiting leadership Program Fellow of the USA for Cyber Security in 2019. He has worked in the economic offenses wing of Mumbai police and investigated many sensitive cases. He has experience leading teams in large and complex police security arrangements for big events. He has led Anti Extremist/ Naxal Operations from front in Gadchiroli district.
As a police officer, he has expertise and experience in maintaining law and order; ensure prevention and detection of crime, and investigate and supervise serious cybercrimes and economic offenses.
He has led the capacity building efforts for cybersecurity and cybercrime investigation for Maharashtra police though long-term training programs. He is working on prevention online exploitation children and women in cyberspace through initiatives like Operation Blackface and Cyber Safe Woman campaign.
Satyavathi Divadari
Satyavathi Divadari is working as Chief Cyber Security Architect at Micro Focus. She is also the Chairman of CSA Bangalore Chapter and a Global Advisory Board Member of CTIA in EC-Council.
Satya has over 22 years of experience in Banking, Telecom, IT/ITES and Media industries and leadership positions at News Corp, Cognizant, Wells Fargo, Capgemini, IBM, and Tata Communications Ltd.
She is a cross functional enterprise architect in Cloud security, Security Operations, Application Security, Network Security, Identity Governance and Administration, and Data Security. She holds variety of certifications that includes AWS Cloud Solution Architect Associate, CFE, CIPT, TOGAF, PMP and CISSP*.
She is a noted speaker in national and international forums. She has been awarded in multiple forums for her contributions to community that includes “Top 20 Indian Women Influencers in Security 2020” by Security India, “CISO Top 100” by CISO Platform, “Women in tech - Chief Mentor” by Kamikaze B2B Media, “Top Technologists -Tech Beacon” award by WEquity.
Charumati Haran
Charumati Haran is currently a Master of Public Policy student at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin, Germany. Prior to joining Hertie, she worked for the National Skill Development Corporation, a public-private partnership under India's Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. She has experience working for think-tanks and youth organisations. Charumati holds a graduate degree in Economics from Delhi University and has keen interest in technology-driven interventions, applied research and international relations.
